Michael C. O'Malley is an Associate Attorney at Dell & Dean, PLLC. Mr. O'Malley's practice areas focus on Personal Injury, Labor Law, Product Liability, False Arrest/Malicious Prosecution and Toxic Tort Litigation in both State and Federal Court.

Michael obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he majored in Political Science and History. He obtained his law degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1997.

While at Hofstra University School of Law, Michael was a member of its champion National Moot Court team, and also a staff member on and Research Editor of the Hofstra University School of Law Labor & Employment Law Journal. In addition, he served as an officer and board member of the Unemployment Action Center, representing individuals in contested unemployment benefits hearings and as a third-year law student was a member of the Hofstra Criminal Justice Clinic, working under a student practice order representing indigent individuals in Nassau and Queens County Criminal Courts.

Michael received the Hofstra University School of Law Outstanding Leadership Award, as well as the Hofstra University School of Law Volunteer Recognition Award, as well as special recognition awards during various Moot Court competitions. He was appointed to the Theodore Roosevelt Inns of Court, and listed in the 1996 Who's Who of American Law Students.

Born in the Bronx and relocated to Long Island in 5th grade, Michael became and remains an active member in his community. He resides in Rockville Centre with his wife and three daughters, is currently President of (and a coach in) the Oceanside United Soccer Club, and has served as PTA President as well as on the board of the Oceanside Fastpitch Softball Club and Oceanside American Little League. He has been the coach of the Bayside High School mock trial team and the Brentwood High School mock trial team.

Michael is admitted to practice in the state courts of New York and Massachusetts, as well as Federal Courts in the Southern and Eastern District of New York. He is a member of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Suffolk and Nassau County Bar Associations.
